My way of painting has always been to get closer to my true self and don’t drafts before I start to paint on Canvas.Same with this artwork. I started by playing with colors, without a clear idea. During that process at some point, I lose myself in my deepest inner world. What I find there, I spit it out on my paintings. Every feeling, every truth, every vision. It took me over 6 months to finish this artwork. I kept on discovering new parts of my inner world. During these 6 months I listened to Hildegard von Bingen, who is famous for her otherworldly visions. I felt deeply connected to her and her works because my paintings envision existence, places, and things that does not exist in our reality. Something that is in-between. Something between light and shadow, conscious and unconscious.
